Good afternoon and welcome to the 2008 Minnesota State Fair FFA Awards Program.  It has been another week of success for FFA members from across the state and today we will celebrate and recognize those achievements.  Minnesota FFA members have experienced the legacy of FFA for eighty years.  The 2008 Minnesota State Fair has been no different with 618 total FFA members exhibiting an abundance of projects ranging from livestock to nursery landscape.  FFA members have begun their own legacy this year by weighing in 48 goats for the first ever FFA market goat show.  Thank you to all for making the 2008 Minnesota State Fair FFA Shows a success.  By being an exhibitor at the fair you truly continue to “Experience the Legacy.”

With us today are some important guests who have helped make the 2008 Minnesota State Fair another successful year for FFA members.  Without their dedication, the FFA exhibits would not be possible.  Please stand when your name is called.
